Elementary Girls XC
My name is Marlina Nez and I am the elementary girls coach this year. There are many new faces this season and I look forward in getting to know and work with them.
We are starting off with 17 girls ranging from 3rdgrade to 5th grade. I appreciate the effort the girls have been making in coming to practice even thou the heat has been bearing down on us.
Please have your child come prepared for practice; running attire, especially with a cap. Encourage your child to drink plenty of water during the day so they do not dehydrate while we are at practice. Our practice days will be Monday to Thursday for now until we receive our schedule.
Should you have any questions, please contact me at (928) 675-6221 or by email, .
Jr. High Boys Cross Country
Welcome! From this year’s Jr High Cross Countryteam. The Warriors return Daishawn V., Leighton T., and Royston T. from last year’s Championship team. Our new harriers are Sheamar L., Aiden A., Troy K., Kristen L., Carlos G. and Alberlando J. This year’steam is led by rookie coach Christopher Smith. CoachSmith’s experience comes from more than a decade ofrunning cross country, track, and marathons.
This year’s team is a mix of varied talents. No tworunners are alike, it is going to be fun learning their strengths and mending them together. One of the mostinteresting things about cross country is that it’s not just you against the completion and yourself, but also Mother Nature. Our goal is to work hard and run smart.
